My cousin John was recently promoted to Sargeant for the Alameda Police Department. Mom, Katie, Tyler, Abby, Addie and I headed down together and Ben & Matt's captain let them roll down in a cruiser on duty for the ceremony. It was fun having dinner with my Auntie Jean and Uncle Ron, John and his girlfriend Lauren and Karen and her boyfriend. It had been a while since we had been together and visited. Tyler loved being with the boys and if you asked him what he wanted to be that day he said a policeman. Other days it is a pilot... who knows what it will end up being. I love you Tyler.
