The out-of-control Fall festival at Grayhawk

Friday night Grayhawk Elementary had their annual Fall Festival that is held on the fields next to the school. This is not the ordinary little carnival that we were used to. We are learning that here everything is just a little bit bigger. There were 2 rock climbing walls, a huge blowup slide, a gladiator blowup, obstacle course blowup, hockey, basketball hoop, "train" ride, huge petting zoo, around 50 different games and booths, businesses had tables set up and there were different vendoes, hotdogs, amburgars... the list goes on and on. We tried to capture some of it in the picture. There were probly a couple thousand people there. There is a real sence of community where we are at and I can tell already that everyone is very involved. The kids had a great time playing for around 3 hours and Camie helped me man her classroom boothe for a half hour. After we were done playing around 8:00 we were all a little hungry so we went to In-n-out and used up Ryan's gift card (thanks, Mom). It was one of those fun family nights where everyone was having a great time.
